Mark Adkins
Chief Executive Officer
As the Chief Executive Officer of Lean Med, Mark brings extensive experience to the team. Mark has three decades of product development experience and as a director of product development at two different Fortune 500 companies, Mark has been responsible for dozens of multi-million-dollar development programs that have launched new products with lifetime sales of over $1B. As a consultant, Mark has provided extensive product development expertise to one of the world’s largest medical device companies.
Anthony Githinji
President – LeanMed Africa
As President of LeanMed Africa, Anthony brings his Business and Market Development Strategy experience, with a Biomedical engineering background to the team. He has 2+ decades of experience in building and leading successful teams in Medical equipment technology Companies around health innovation, Medical Oxygen eco-systems, Medical equipment support and training. As President of LeanMed Africa, he will lead the penetration and commercialization of the O2 Cube in Africa
Jessica Starck
Chief Operating Officer
Jessica is an Industrial Engineer earning her bachelors from the University of Missouri and masters from the University of Pittsburgh. With prior industry experience in manufacturing, logistics, and process improvements, she is now focused on product development and project management with a passion for medical device innovation and sustainability. As project manager for LeanMed, her experience will lead the O2 cube program to successful implementation.
Eli Diacopoulos
Vice-President Business Development
Eli has over 30 years of leadership and experience in the medical device industry, where his teams drove innovation, new product development, commercialization and lifecycle management of multibillion dollar products and solutions. Eli previously served as the Business Leader/General Manager of a respiratory business that delivered mid-teens CAGR over a 10 year period. Eli brings a network of established US and Global medical device industry relationships to help facilitate LeanMed business opportunity development.
Bob Murdoch
Chief Technical Officer
Former Director of Advanced Respiratory Research at with 28 years of Research and Development experience in Respiratory Medical Devices. Product development includes 5 LPM and 10 LPM Oxygen concentrators, Oxygen conserving devices, specialty Japanese Oxygen concentrator, portable Oxygen concentrators, portable Liquid Oxygen device, home Liquid Oxygen generator, and Oxygen cylinder transfilling device.
Ryan Seger
Product Manager
Ryan is an MBA and MS in Medical Product Engineering graduate from the University of Pittsburgh, with a background in Neuroscience clinical research coordination through professional experience and a BS in Psychology from the University of Connecticut. Through his internship with Philips’s Innovation Hub and graduate school, Ryan has been involved in the translation of clinical and business needs to lead ideas from concept through early product development. As a Product Manager with LeanMed, he applies these experiences to drive the strategic roadmap of the O2 cube.
Nicolas Kshatri
Project Engineer
Nick is a Biomedical Engineer at Smith & Nephew with a bachelor’s from the University of Pittsburgh. He has prior industry experience in mechanical engineering, and co-founded Canal Electronics, a startup consumer electronics company spun out of Pitt.
